What Does Chatbot Mean?

A chatbot refers to a computer program designed to have human-like conversations with human users. It means that humans can talk to the computer program (chatbot) in an ordinary language.

Most chatbot applications take the human language in a written format because humans prefer text-based communication nowadays. Some chatbots can take regular human language input in audio format.

No matter what type of chatbot it is, they all have a similar purpose – to take human language input, understand what is being said and to provide a relevant answer based on the knowledge it has.

What Types of Chatbot Are Available?
